When Gino meets Benedicte, it’s love at first sight: passionate, unconditional, fiery. She is working in the family business, and she also drives cars on circuits. Gino is that kind of normal guy, cool, handsome... but he hides a secret.

It's the kind of secret that can endanger your life and the lives of those around you. Gino and Benedicte will have to fight against fate, reason and their own weaknesses to save their love.

Director Michaël R. Roskam considers LE FIDÈLE to be the second part of his crime trilogy.

Each part is freely based on a particular moment in Belgian criminal history. For his Oscar-nominated debut film BULLHEAD, Roskam's source of inspiration was the hormone mafia. For his new film, Roskam drew inspiration from notorious Brussels gangs and the adrenaline-driven world of car racing.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FILM IS IN FRENCH, WITH DUTCH SUBTITLES.
