From age 16 and up Sex Violence

POESÍA SIN FIN portrays Alejandro Jodorowsky’s young adulthood, set in the 1940s and 1950s, in the buzzing Chilean capital city of Santiago. There, he decides – against his family’s wishes – to become a poet and is introduced, by destiny, into the foremost bohemian and artistic circle of the time.

He meets Enrique Lihn, Stella Diaz Varín, Nicanor Parra and many others of the country's young, promising and unknown artists who would later become the titans of Latin America's literature. Totally immersed in this world of intellectuals and poetic experimentation, he lives as few have dared to live before: sensually, authentically, freely, madly.

Alejandro Jodorowsky's non-conformist films (EL TOPO, THE HOLY MOUNTAIN) have generated a true cult-following by way of their symbolical, philosophical and esoteric depth. At age 87, his career overflows with the kind of iconoclastic imagery that questions, modifies and pushes forward our perception of art.
