Amores Perros

'Amores Perros' is the multi-award winning directorial debut by Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu (Babel, Biutiful). Opening with a spectacular car accident, the film interweaves the stories of the three victims; a young man who has fallen in love with his brother’s wife, a beautiful Mexican model for whom physical appearance is everything and a former guerilla whose time in prison has killed his passion for life. The film stars Gael García Bernal in one of the leads.

Cine Club en Español

Now in its second year: The Cine Club en Español! In addition to the screening of a Spanish-language film, the Cine Club en Español seeks to provide an relaxing atmosphere for those who are willing to try their hand at Spanish conversation with like-minded visitors. Admission is open to absolutely anyone with even the slightest interest in Spanish and South-American cinema. Whenever possible the films in the Cineclub will be shown with English subtitles. It is strongly advised to reserve tickets for the Cineclub in advance.
