Made in Europe
From April 5-10, the Made in Europe Film Festival offers around forty outstanding feature films, documentaries and short films. It is the biggest film event of the Limburg region and the perfect opportunity to come and watch films that you usually don’t get to see in cinemas. The festival venues are Genk, Heerlen, Maastricht, Roermond and Sittard.
The festival includes the following sections:
MADE IN EUROPE: Contemporary films from young European filmmakers.
FESTIVAL PREVIEWS: Exclusive previews of new movies from established directors.
HORS CATÉGORIE: Films defying any categorization and revealing unusual artistic approaches.
HAFSIA HERZI SPECIAL: Devoted to our honorary festival guest: young French actress Hafsia Herzi, winner of the inaugural Made in Europe Film Award.
